The specification develops the required architecture from organizational duties, authored intent, authority, state transitions, evidence, and economic effects. It treats Mass, Moxie, and Recourse individually and at their boundaries.

Its chapters cover organizational identity and governance, cryptographic evidence, compliance and execution languages, durable workflows, claims, custody, settlement, consensus, disputes, and recovery. Developer, operator, and conformance references follow those contracts.

Requirements, inspected source behavior, formal results, and execution observations carry different evidential force. A requirement may exceed current functionality. Source inspection does not establish deployment; a formal result applies within its stated model and hypotheses. The book identifies implementation boundaries and unresolved realization obligations.
